A rare, detailed drawing done in pencil. This work was inspired by the similarities that exist between depictions of paradise from two disparate sources; the “Heavenly Jerusalem” found in 11th century manuscript of Saint Sever and the Mandala “Paradise” of Vaikuntha from the Skanda Purana in India.
